Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B,L)

Visit to Ho Chi Minh Former Residence, One-Pillared Pagoda, West Lake, Lake Hoan Kiem, Temple of Literature. Cyclo tour (2 hours) to the old quarters of Hanoi and local markets. Evening enjoy the famous Water Puppet Show (1st class seats).

Day 3 Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hanoi (B,L)

Drive to Ninh Binh, 100km from Hanoi. Visit the Dinh & Le dynasty temples in Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam (968-1009). The highlights of the trip is a sampan ride to Tam Coc, known as Vietnam “inland Halong Bay”. Paddle through three enormous caves and view local fisher-folk, village life along the river and, of course, the striking pagodas of 17th century. Transfer to Hai Phong, the most bustling seaport city in northern Vietnam with charming French-style buildings, ancient temples and colourful markets

Day 4: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (L,D)

After breakfast at hotel, private van / car & Impress team will pick us up and we start our 4-hours drive to Halong City stopping on the way for some refreshments and local hospitality. Upon arrival at Halong City, we transfer to our boat for a cruise in the stunning Halong Bay. Sea food lunch will be served on board. After lunch we will have opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful caves of Halong, Surprise Cave. From here we take our boats to the Ti Top Beach, where we can have a swim or climb up to the top of the island for outstanding panoramic view of the Bay. Stay overnight on board.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay (B,L,D)

Today we will have approximately 6 hours of paddling time amongst some of the most stunning scenery Vietnam has to offer. Our tiny kayaks are dwarfed against the massive limestone peaks that tower above us as weave our way through the labyrinth of islets. From our previous overnight spot we kayak to the Dark Cave, then make our way to beautiful beaches of Ba Trai Dao. Our today’s destination is Lan Ha Bay where we will anchor at a quieter lagoon to spend the night.

Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

Following breakfast this morning, we kayak around Luon Cave before returning to Halong Bay harbor where we meet with our vehicle for the 3hour drive back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi – Mai Chau  - Son La(B,L)

Pick you up at 8.00am at hotel in Hanoi, then depart for Hoa Binh city towards to the North west of Hanoi, it takes about 2,5 hours to get to Mai Chau(145 km). This is a beautiful valley which is the homeland of the Thai people, one of the largest ethnic minorities group in Vietnam. The trip is going though the green rice paddies, spectacular scenery of limestone mountain range in the North west of Vietnam. On arrival welcome drink with traditional Vietnamese known as green tea. Then enjoy lunch with local people at the traditional house on stilt of Thai. This is the best time to learn their culture, how they have meal? What type of foods do they have? and trekking around Mai Chau valley.

After lunch you diving to the north on the way to Son La through the minorities villages you’ll enjoy the picturesque scenery as you pass the villages of Black Thai, White Thai, and Muong peoples visit Xalinh Market ( if trip on Sunday)its very colorful from Tribe people’s cloth, on arrival in Son La for check in Hotel

Day 8: Son La – Tuan Chau – Tuan Giao – Dien Bien (B,L)

Morning you start to visit Son La an old French prison ( political of prison during the French war) and Ethnic  museum, then continue trip to Dien Bien Phu driving up to the  pass (34 km) its very famous history during the war Vietnam and French  struggle against for independence  in 1954.

On arrival in DBP then check in hotel and then to visit vestiges war memories of museum and Headquarter of French Commander Tunnel, Hill A1 ..  O/N in Dien Bien Phu

Day 9: Dien Bien Phu – Lai Chua – Tam Duong - Sapa(B,L)

Heading out of town, we spend a full day traveling into Vietnam’s most mountainous region. The roads are difficult at times, but the spectacular landscape with a mixture of terraced fields and hill villages makes the hardship all worthwhile. En route, we have some opportunities to encounter the Red Hmong, Kho Mu, Mang, Dao people. They are very poor, but have colorful culture. Nthe scenery of the north is unequalled although the conditions are very simple. We follow the trip to Sa Pa. At an elevation of 1,620 meters, Sapa was founded in the early years of the last century as a hill resort for French administrators when the heat on the plain became unbearable. Here are some remains of colonial period and many colorful ethnic minority groups. After checking into hotel, you stop as you please, to stretch your legs and take photographs. Overnight in SAPA

Day 10:  Sapa, trek to Ta Van village (B,L,D)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at 6.30 a.m,  Our Impress team will  welcome you by your name sign. We drive up to Sapa about 50 minutes on Car / Van,  you will be taken to a small guesthouse for a morning showers then your breakfast at a local restaurant here. After breakfast & short morning beak, we start trekking from Sapa town.
Our trekking route is from here to through the villages of Hmong and Zay people, chances to meet the locals working on the mountainsides or the rice terraces, kids ride on back of buffalo, to take photograph of  picturesque valleys & awesome scenery. We have picnic lunch on trekking route, and then keep on trekking to Ta Van village of Zay people, where you will be warmly welcomed by the host, share the dinner with them, and stay at their traditional wooden house.

Day 11: More trek and get back to Sapa (B)

Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast; take the road to GiangTaChai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross MuongHoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sapa by Car / Van.
On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Check in hotel. and your free time to explore the corners of Sapa town.

Day 12: Easy trek to Cat Cat village village - Lao Cai station (B,L)

Breakfast,  visit  village of the black H'mong (Cat Cat village), walk around visiting people in the village and the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the old days. 
Back town have lunch and check out hotel, free to explore the town. At about 5 PM. drive to Lao Cai station for a night train back to Hanoi. After 8,5 hours, you arrive in Hanoi station at 5.30 Am, Impress team will support you to get back your hotel in early morning.

Day 14: Hanoi - Hue (B,L)

In the morning, transfer to Noi Bai Airport (60km) for a short flight to Hue, widely known for its magnificent monuments built under the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945). Pick up and transfer to a hotel in the city. Free to relax. Buffet dinner served at hotel

Day 15: Hue city tour (B,L)

The morning is highlighted with a visit to the Dong Ba Market, famous for its best conical hats in Vietnam, and the Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with geomancy. A performance of ancient dancing and court music, a world intangible heritage recognised by UNESCO in 2003, is presented in the citadel (optional). In the afternoon, the tour focuses on the tombs of King Tu Duc (ruled 1848 – 1883) and King Khai Dinh (ruled 1916 – 1925). The monuments, designed by the kings themselves, were also used as holiday retreats during their lifetime. Proceed to Thien Mu Pagoda to attend the afternoon service. The evening is highlighted with a Hue folk show on the Perfume River.

Day 16: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B,L)

Transfer to Danang (110km). Admire beautiful landscape on the road through the Hai Van Pass. Panoramic views of the clouds, the sea and the mountains around are unfolded at the scenic Lang Co lagoon. After arriving in Danang, visit the Cham Sculpture Museum which boasts the finest collection of Cham sandstone sculptures in the world. In the afternoon, transfer to Hoi An.

After hotel check-in, you are free on your own or at leisure on the beach. Evening, enjoy a lively show of traditional dancing & music. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 17: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B,L)

Hoi An, so called a ‘living Museum City’ because of its well-kept original historical buildings and ancient backstreets. Visit three of the city’s oldest homes, each built over 200 years ago and still occupied by descendants of the families that originally built them; then tour to traditional Hoi An Church and the unique Japanese Bridge. Day 23: City tour Da Lat (B,L)

Pm: Take an upward climb to Langbiang mountain summit where you can see and to take a picture of Da Lat city. Free to enjoy your dinner. Enjoy the balance of the evening to explore Da Lat flower city. Overnight in hotel.

Day25: Visit Tay Ninh and Cu Chi tunnels (B,L,D)

Am. Have breakfast at hotel. Our guide and driver pick you up at hotel and transfer to Tay Ninh-the Great Cao Dai temple (a religious mixture of Buddhism, Confucius, Taoism, Hinduism and Christian) Observe the noon mass (one hour). Have lunch at restaurant in Tay Ninh.

Pm. During the afternoon, you visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels where you will have an opportunity to experience the underground life of guerilla fighters during the past war. (The crawl through 50–100 meters of the tunnel system is unforgettable). Local rice paper workshops and nice paddy fields are pleasant sights on the way. Back to Ho Chi Minh and free to have dinner by yourself. Overnight in hotel.

Drive to CaiBe, boat trip visit floating market and cruise over mighty Mekong river to island, promenade around fruit orchards, boat to VinhLong. Coach trip to LongXuyen, explore the village making incense stick before heading onto ChauDoc for the first night.

Day 27: ChauDoc - CanTho (B,L)

Up early for a cruise through the amazing riverside market with all its bustling activity and smorgasbord of sounds, colours and smells. We also cruise through the floating village with tons and tons of fish farmed underneath hundreds of shelters. Discover the ethnic Cham village with its famous Mubarak Mosque and watch the locals go about their traditional weaving. After visiting the famous Lady Chua Xu Temple (1820) we walk up the sacred Sam Mountain with its panoramic view over the vast plains into Cambodia. After lunch we continue on to CanTho, with a stop at a bird sanctuary, for our second night.

Day 28: CanTho - Ho Chi Minh city (B,L)

An early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, then we have a long distance cruise & walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. In the afternoon we head back to Saigon, lunch break en route. Back in Saigon around 17:00.
